Illegal Acts of Aggression by the U.S. Government and NATO against Libya...

It has been reported that Muammar Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi posed a profound question to President Obama; what if armed rebels attacked U.S. cities with the force of arms, what would you do? I would love to hear the response that the President would give, seeing that the U.S. is known for aggressive acts against sovereign countries in the name of democracy. Gaddafi poses a valid question, because Libya is a sovereign country which is clearly non-democratic and NATO has intervened under the guise of helping civilians. Mislead and misinformed people may believe that civilians are being killed in Libya, but when have armed rebels ever been considered harmless civilians. It is obvious that the U.S. and Britain are trying to protect their interests in the region, and the U.S. has even acknowledged that they are funding rebels. According to various reports, the bombing of Libya by U.S. and NATO forces have hit residential and office buildings. Libyan officials have continuously asked the UN to send international observers to objectively report on the crisis taking place in Libya to no avail. Gaddafi has held his position that NATO forces have no right to conduct military operations in Libya, as he says, "They are getting involved in internal affairs". The fact that the U.S. and NATO have the power to invade sovereign countries at their discretion is a big reason for concern, as Vladimir Putin said, "Russia is justified for building up their defences" when Russia and any other country can be invaded under bogus pretenses at anytime. Currently there are rebellions in Bahrain, Yemen, and other countries where dictators and kings are blatantly killing civilians. Why are there no military operations there? The fact is that the U.S. and Britain have no interests there; basically there is no oil. We are living in a time of hypocritical self-interests....
